Celebrate Spring with these Popular Easter Flowers

While we sustainably grow our flowers year round on our farm here in Ecuador, there is no denying that spring is a celebration of the botanical world. After the long winter, our favorite flowers have come into their own, demonstrating the fullest power of Mother Nature. With Easter only two weeks away, many are wondering which bouquets are the freshest this season. Whether you’re planning a party or ordering gifts for the ones you love, we’re always here to make suggestions to bring an extra sweet surprise to your day.

From graceful lilies to golden roses, these stunning spring blooms will brighten up your home this spring.

Yellow Roses

Yellow might be spring’s favorite color. Associated with rebirth and renewal, you’ll find many yellow things associated with Easter – from chicks to bumblebees, sunshine and of course, numerous flower varieties. Yellow roses traditionally signify friendship, but in the context of spring, they are a perfect gift for anyone you care about. Whether you prefer our full premium rose bouquet, The Honor or a more whimsical bouquet of yellow spray roses, like Honeycomb, yellow roses undoubtedly bring spring cheer to whoever receives them.

Daisies

Delicate and childlike, daisies are associated with joy, purity, and innocence. Their small size and sweet white and yellow faces provide the perfect complement to other larger flowers, like the roses in our Dove spring bouquet. Daisies are known for their longevity after being cut, so you can enjoy them long after Easter weekend is over. Grown holistically with love on our farm, these daisies will hopefully remind you of days past making flower chains in the sun.

Lilies

Long-stemmed and fragrant, lilies are widely associated with springtime and rebirth. They symbolize purity and fertility and are often an adornment on Easter baskets. Lilies love warm temperatures, which is why ours in particular are so full and thriving – they are living their best life here on the Equatorial line where they receive twelve hours of sun per day. Enjoy their beauty next to our premium roses in bouquets like Nectar and Smitten.

Garden Roses

There’s something about the unique size and shape of garden roses that makes them a favorite for spring occasions. The crinkly petals and full blooms of our garden rose collection evoke emotions of joy and beauty, especially this time of year. The blooms come in a wide range of colors perfect for Easter—from the light green of our Freshly Squeezed bouquet to a bold orange-pink fusion of Dazzler. Or, if you prefer a mixed arrangement, Sunday Morning blends garden and premium roses with fresh seasonal foliage.

Peruvian Lilies

Native to South America, Peruvian Lilies are also known as Lilies of the Incas or by their genus name, Alstroemeria. They bloom in the spring with a thin, funnel shape to their petals and beautiful brown markings that add artistry and intrigue to your bouquet. While they aren’t true lilies, they are a wonderful addition to Easter bouquets. Find them in our bestselling La Vie Est Belle bouquet and our Darling bouquet.

Sunflowers

Spring should always be a celebration of the sunnier days ahead, and what is more sunny than sunflowers? These cheerful blooms are a favorite of gardeners and farmers because they are highly adaptable and hardy. The thick stalks and large blooms make them a standout in bouquets like Sunny Side. A promise of the warm days of summer, the golden yellow hue of sunflowers brings sunshine to your door.

While these flowers make thoughtful gifts, there are endless more ways to appreciate them in your own home. Create enchanting centerpieces for your dining table, set up vases beside guest beds, or use flowers to add color and texture to your coffee table. Whatever you decide, these farm fresh flowers will bring life and beauty to your home this spring.
